In 2017, Chris Matthews was granted a $500 Disney Be Inspired award by YSA (Youth Service America) in which he used to develop the 1st Annual "GIVING BOWL," a 7-on-7 charitable flag football game to provide healthy meals and warm blankets in his Atlanta community during the holidays. With the help of The 4LBU Foundation, Here 2 Help, Inc., The Square Church, Commissioner Emma I. Darnell (District 6) and Councilwoman Rosie Jackson (District 5), Publix Market East Point and Georgia Supreme Athletics, the event was a success. Over 40 families received food for the holidays. In 2018, with the help of its community partners, B4MB early doubled its impact, feeding nearly 80 families. This November, with the 3rd annual Giving Bowl, we are aiming high.
